RF MICRONEEDLING
Firmer skin, built slowly from within
Morpheus8 pairs microneedling with radiofrequency energy to encourage new collagen beneath the surface. Change arrives gradually, and it looks like you.
Overview
Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment. Fine, gold-plated needles create controlled micro-channels while delivering RF heat into the deeper layers of the skin. This prompts the body to produce new collagen and elastin, which can improve firmness, texture, acne scarring and the look of fine lines over the following weeks and months.
Session time
About 60 to 90 minutes, including numbing
Downtime
Redness and swelling for 1 to 3 days

Typically 3, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart

Your visit
01
Your provider reviews your skin, history and goals, confirms Morpheus8 is right for you, and sets the depth and number of sessions.
02
Numbing cream is applied first. The handpiece then moves across each area in passes. Most clients describe a warm, prickling sensation that is well tolerated.
03
Expect redness and mild swelling for one to three days, sometimes with faint grid marks. Use gentle products, skip makeup for about a day and wear daily SPF.
Results
Some clients notice a smoother surface within the first few weeks, once initial redness settles. The deeper change comes from collagen remodeling, which takes time. Many clients see firmer, more even skin about three months after their final session, with improvement continuing for several months after that. Results can last a year or more with good skincare and sun protection, and a yearly maintenance session is often recommended. Individual results vary.
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment, and most clients describe the sensation as warm and prickly rather than painful. Comfort depends on the treatment depth and the area. Your provider will check in throughout the session and can adjust settings to keep you comfortable.
Most clients complete a series of three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart. Deeper concerns such as acne scarring may benefit from an additional session. After the series, many clients return once a year for maintenance. Your provider will recommend a plan at your consultation.
Most clients return to normal activities within one to three days. Expect redness and mild swelling at first, and sometimes small grid marks on the skin that fade within a few days. Avoid heavy makeup, strenuous exercise and direct sun for the first day or two.
Yes. Morpheus8 is often paired with injectables such as Botox or dermal filler, or with skin treatments like chemical peels and HydraFacial, spaced appropriately. Your provider will advise on timing so each treatment works well alongside the others and your skin has time to recover between visits.
Radiofrequency energy is not color-dependent the way many lasers are, so Morpheus8 is generally considered suitable for a wide range of skin tones. Every skin type still responds differently. Your provider will assess your skin and history at your consultation before recommending treatment settings.
