Your visit
01
Your aesthetician reviews your skin, routine and goals, then selects the steps for your visit. Dermaplaning, LED or extractions are added only when they suit your skin that day.
02
A facial typically includes a thorough cleanse, exfoliation, steam and extractions where needed, followed by a mask and hydration. Sessions run about 45 to 75 minutes.
03
Most clients return to their day right after. Some light redness can follow extractions and usually settles within a few hours. Wear sunscreen, and hold off on strong actives for a day or two.
Results
Most clients leave with skin that looks cleaner, smoother and more hydrated. Dermaplaning leaves the surface soft and helps makeup sit more evenly. LED therapy is gentle and often used to calm the skin or support clarity. The benefits of facials build with consistency, so many clients book every four to six weeks, roughly in line with the skin’s renewal cycle. Individual results vary.
A facial at PÙAR is performed by hand by a medical aesthetician and can include extractions, dermaplaning and LED therapy. A HydraFacial uses a dedicated device to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and infuse serums in one sequence. Both support healthy skin. Your aesthetician can recommend which fits your goals, or how to alternate them.
No. Dermaplaning removes fine vellus hair, often called peach fuzz, along with dead surface skin. The hair grows back at the same texture and color. The treatment leaves skin feeling smooth and helps skincare and makeup sit more evenly. It is not recommended over active acne.
LED therapy uses specific wavelengths of light on the skin. Red light is commonly used to support a calm, healthy-looking complexion, and blue light is often used for breakout-prone skin. It is gentle and does not involve heat. Your aesthetician adds it to your facial when it suits your skin.
Many clients book every four to six weeks, which roughly follows the skin’s natural renewal cycle. If you are working on congestion or preparing for an event, your aesthetician may suggest a shorter interval for a period. Facials also pair well between more advanced treatments such as peels or microneedling.
Yes. We suggest booking three to five days before an event so any redness from extractions has time to settle and skin looks its most even. If this is your first facial, or you plan dermaplaning, give yourself a little more time. Our team can help you plan the timing.
